Multi Language using Poly Lang
I was excited to redesign and build a multi-language website for Craigie Stockwell Carpets, a company with an incredible legacy in luxury carpet-making. Their heritage dates back to 1755, when Samuel Stockwell, the founder’s ancestor, began his apprenticeship as a broadcloth weaver in Yorkshire—part of a tradition that led to the first carpet weavers in the UK. From generation to generation, the Stockwell family has shaped the industry, from pioneering new techniques to establishing a presence in London’s Mayfair.
Craigie Stockwell Carpets continues this tradition of excellence, creating bespoke handmade carpets and rugs in any size, shape, or color. They’ve led the way in innovation, from introducing modern design collections to reimagining classic Savonnerie and Aubusson styles. Their dedication to craftsmanship is reflected in every detail, with full-size, hand-drawn designs ensuring the highest quality.
Whether for a minimalist rug or a grand palace installation, their expert team—designers, weavers, and installers—approach each project with the same level of care. Showcasing this legacy and artistry through a beautifully modern website was an exciting challenge, and I’m proud to have helped bring their story to life online.
